A New Dawn in Bridal Wear
As we wave goodbye to 2022, a year that's given us two new Prime Ministers, a new King, a winter World Cup and a sad goodbye to a true fashion icon, Vivienne Westwood, it's easy to feel a little apprehensive about what 2023 might have in store. But if 2022 taught us anything, planning ahead, keeping an eye on the future is a pretty sensible approach. So we took heed and have been working away to bring you some exciting things in the next 12 months.
Keeping it Fresh
Since our beginning in 2021, we have been carefully collaborating with perfect partners to ensure we bring you the most beautiful wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and stunningly complimentary accessories. We take our commitment to quality seriously and work with brands who do too. Our blooming relationships with Oui the Label, Rewritten, Love Lane London, Paper to Lace, Botias and Wynne Tam Tam will continue on and we are beaming about some new brands we are currently in discussions with about bringing to the Something Borrowed range too. So a big watch this space here!
New Rewritten
Rewritten continues to surpass every bride’s hopes and dreams with their contemporary yet classic range of wedding wear. We just love to see their new ideas flowing through, working with them to select the perfect additions to the Something Borrowed rental range including the stunning one-shoulder Porto dress which will be available soon and the now available soft blue hue of the Sky Blue colourway, new to their palette and bang on bridal wear trend for 2023, in the Brooklyn and Florence dresses. This elegant English garden colour will be the perfect accompaniment to any bride, but perhaps the much talked about blossoming pinks will make an appearance – time will tell.
Excellence in Experience
If you have read our Rental, with Wedding Bells and Whistles On journal then you will know that customer experience has always been at the forefront of our mission here at Something Borrowed. We mean it when we say we want you to have that goose bump feeling when your dress arrives, rental or not, that is how every bride to be should feel. Our founder Christie has focused on ensuring a quality product and service, and this year, will be going further to take on board all the feedback gathered from our Something Borrowed Real Brides, and make positive steps to ensuring an excellent experience for all. With a key objective set out - let's make rental easy and available to all.
