I rented bridesmaid dresses from Something Borrowed and had a great experience. The dresses were beautiful and the whole process was really easy. It's nice to think that the dresses will get worn again, they are too beautiful to spend their lives in a wardrobe after one wedding! Thanks so much!

Was such a wonderful experience working with Christie from beginning to end and felt SO good to not be paying thousands for a dress I will only wear once. I already knew what dress and size I wanted (I went and tried it on at the shop that made the dress originally) but knew it needed alterations, she incredibly kindly sent it to me free of charge and months in advance so it could be tailored with reversible stitches so I felt happy and confident in it. I was worried I would be really anxious all day about spilling stuff on it but Christie was really kind and reassuring so I didn’t need to be - she didn’t flinch even when I told her I was getting married on a farm lol. By the end the dress had a few grass stains and a small food stain. I got my in-laws to post it back whilst I went on honeymoon and Christie was able to lift all the stains for free. Honestly can’t recommend enough - really quick communication, genuinely lovely people and she wanted to see a picture of me in the dress which was a really sweet touch I thought too. With the planet in the state that it is and weddings often generating so much waste and fast fashion, it felt really lovely to not be adding to it all in my small way. Also, this is a bit silly but I thought about how many amazing weddings the dress had been to and it felt like a lovely little lucky charm on the day! I hope it goes to many more! I rented an incredible dress for my special day with Something Borrowed! They made the process really easy from start to finish, nothing was too much bother and the service was really personal. So much simpler and more sustainable than having to buy a dress, have it altered, multiple fittings then dry cleaning, storage etc.
